Ripples 6: Float or sinkTime slowed within the whirling pool of crystal. All Trisha could do was float and watch the shimmering blues and silver twinkling in the moonlight. Her body numb, her senses dulled. A great fear crept through her entirety; she feared for her very existence. Silently she stared at the brightening colours, now showing shades of violet and red, each becoming stronger in colour with each passing ripple. It was calming, and soon it seemed that time had stopped all together.

She never once enjoyed the presence of that man; the so-called doctor which 'out of the goodness of his heart' had married her sickly mother to gather a good reputation and a pocket full of money when she finally kicks the bucket. Ripples 4: Through the forestThe young lord woke with a jolt. As he lifted his dreary head he saw his rather large companion standing with his back to him, nibbling lightly on an apple. Shaking his head, the smaller man slowly rolled to his feet and stretched out his bruised arms to combat the numbness, he then screwed up his eyes and let out a loud, low yawn. Upon hearing this, his companion's ears perked up and he stopped eating.

"Morning", he said with a gruff voice.

The smaller figure simply nodded in return.

Ripples 3: Day breakDreams are strange things. They can start as small as a passing thought, insignificant and withdrawn. Affected by a twist or a sudden turn of the imagination they can grow and take form. With the mind manipulating the flow of endless thoughts, a person may dance through many an enchanting and unnatural world. Some may even become powerful enough to almost seem real.

Swimming Merman animationby ~bugzii

Quickly finished off a previous animation sketch
...none of my usual pretty tail colouring...just something simple to make him easier to animate...

Oh yeah! This little guy is nameless right now and I like to give all my fishy pet's a name. Any suggestions?

On the contrary, I think his tail's coloured quite beautifully! A very striking teal blue.
I love his swim cycle. It's smooth, elegant, and really rather attractive.

All I would point out, however, is that his face is quite 'stony'. While everything else moves, his eyes don't even blink, for example.
All in all, a very decent animation.

Any name that begins with Mark or Marc like Markus and Marcelo from many European countries seem to be an iteration of 'of the sea' in Latin.

The tail movement is very nice and fluid, but I think it would help you to add some flow to the torso as well.

This is pretty good animation, great job.

Also names huh.......I'm not much of a naming person but i think you should name him Aquarius.

I actually had to fix a few issues with the movement so I'm a little surprised that it didn't take that long to do.

On names, I think that Aquarius is a good name and would suit him because he comes from the sea but I fear it may be cliche.
